PRODUCT CLAIMS: PROCESS
What is CLAIMING and how do I do it?
If you have a Knowa Collectible Object, you can claim digital ownership and add it to your Knowa collection in the Knowa app (desktop or mobile). You are registering your digital certificate of authenticity and claiming/staking your ownership. There is no charge for this. Claiming a physical object such as a card or other collectible object does NOT mint an NFT and there are NO gas fees. This is known in the industry as “lazy minting” or “on-demand minting”. You can choose to mint an NFT of your ownership at any time after initial registration and launch of Knowa Phase 2. There will be a monetary cost known as “gas fee” for this minting operation. This is a fee charged by the blockchain and not by Knowa Studios.
How do I claim/register my ownership?
You claim ownership by following the instructions in your Owner Manual. Consult your Owner Manual for complete step-by-step instructions.
Am I obligated to claim my ownership?
You are not obligated to claim ownership, but Knowa highly recommends it. The only way to acquire Knowa Digital Collectibles such as 3D models and 3D Avatars is by registering ownership of a Knowa Collectible. Without claiming, your collectible wanders the universe, feeling lost and alone.
When can I claim my ownership?
You can stake your claim at any time after receiving your physical collectible in the mail.
How long is the claim window open for?
There is no time limit to claiming or registering your physical collectible. However, your physical collectible cannot enter the digital world until you stake your claim and go digital.
Where can I claim my products?
The only place you can stake your claim is on the official website: www.knowa.com or by following the directions in your owner manual. If any other site purports to offer staking or a similar claim process, please notify admin@knowa.com immediately. It is a fraudulent site.
How will the claim work?
When claiming, you generate your digital certificate of authenticity and ownership. If you are not already a member of the Knowa Collectors Guild, claiming also creates your free account. Once claimed, your “digital version” of your physical object appears in your Knowa Collection within the Knowa App (desktop or web).
Can I change the size once I have ordered?
No. Knowa Collectible Objects, including Knowa Cards and Knowa Coins, come in predetermined sizes. The size of a Knowa Card is the standard trading card size of 2-1/2 inches by 3-1/2 inches. In its secure holder the overall dimensions are 3-¼ inches by 5-⅜ inches by ¼ inches (80mm x 135mm x 6mm). The card in its holder is the same size as a collectible trading card in a PSA or CSG holder.
What if the item does not meet with my complete satisfaction?
Consult the terms of sale from the marketplace or site where you bought the item to determine its returns policy. Each seller has their own returns policy. Knowa Studios does not sell physical objects directly to the public. We do not accept returns.
DIGITAL GOODS. Since NFT and Digital Collectibles are made-to-order and incur minting fees, there are no returns.
What if I own multiple Knowa Collectibles?
Each Knowa Collectible stands on its own. If you buy 5 cards, you must claim each one separately because each one has a unique token waiting to be claimed. Claiming a physical object is a Phase 1 Action and does not mint an NFT or register in a blockchain. In Phase 2, owners can MINT an NFT of their physical collectible. Each NFT minting incurs an Ethereum network gas fee.
I don’t want an NFT, can I still claim the physical product?
Yes. Claiming a physical object is a Phase 1 Action and does not mint an NFT or register in a blockchain. You can enjoy all the benefits of ownership and use of the Knowa App without minting any NFT ever. Through the App, you will be notified first of any new 2D or 3D opportunities, and news of new Metaverses scheduled to launch.
If I buy a Knowa Digital First collectible, do I have to pay for the physical collectible?
Sometimes Knowa may release DIGITAL FIRST products. Sometimes, we may release DIGITAL ONLY products. In a Digital First scenario, you buy the Digital Good, then have the option to buy the physical collectible. In the DIGITAL ONLY scenario, there is NO PHYSICAL PRODUCT available. If you have a Digital First collectible, then claiming the physical collectible is completely optional but requires a separate purchase. Contact sales@knowa.com for details.
Will there be any cost to claiming my Knowa Physical Collectible?
There is no cost to stake your claim to a physical collectible you have purchased. This is PHASE 1 of your ownership lifecycle. In Phase 2, should you decide to take this step, you will walk through a simple process to mint your NFT. At that point a gas fee will apply. Gas fees are determined by the Ethereum network and adidas does not control them.
What happens when Phase 2 of the Ownership Lifecycle begins?
Phase 2 of the Knowa Ownership Lifecycle is optional. Phase 2 enables minting your digital assets to the Ethereum Blockchain and creating new asset value to your collection. Phase 2 NFT minting and advancement to the next stage of the Knowa Ecosystem is not required and will never force you out of the Knowa Ecosystem. Phase 2 costs money because minting NFTs is not free. Also, new Digital-Only 3D models and Avatars will be available in Phase 2. Purchase of these digital assets includes the minting and gas fees.
What does Phase 2 mean?
Phase 2 is the next step after Phase 1 in the Knowa Ownership Lifecycle. In this phase, a special type of smart contract known as an NFT (for non-fungible token) is made available to collectors. Buying the NFT version of a Knowa Collectible is completely optional but highly recommended. NFT versions of Knowa Objects will be required in order to enter a Knowa metaverse. Please bear this in mind when trading on the secondary market.
Is there any reason not to claim my products?
There is no reason for you not to claim your products. Bear in mind that Phase 2 holders can optionally “progress” through the Knowa Ownership Lifecycle and eventually enter a Knowa Metaverse.
What if I fail to stake my claim or choose not to claim or choose not to enter Phase 2?
If you do not stake your claim to your physical collectible (whether it be card or coin or whatever) you cannot access the Knowa App nor gain access to future Phases. Without staking your claim you cannot enter Phase 2, you will not be eligible for any Phase 2 utility and benefits. However, you can always stake your claim at a later date, so long as you maintain ownership of the physical Knowa Collectible.
Do I have to register my physical products in order to enter Phase 2?
Yes. You must prove ownership of a physical object in order to enter Phase 2. You can choose not to claim ownership and you are under no obligation to do so. Unclaimed physical objects are considered “lost”.
Are NFTs on the secondary market valid for product claims?
Any genuine Phase 1 Physical Collectible purchased on the secondary market is valid for staking/claiming but it must go through our Transfer Portal. If you buy a Knowa Collectible from an original owner, that owner must TRANSFER ownership of both the Digital Asset and the Physical Asset to you, or you must undergo a KNOW YOUR CUSTOMER (KYC) process with Knowa Studios in order for us to manually transfer your claim to your new Knowa App account. Phase 2 NFTs purchased on the secondary market which also have a physical Knowa Collectible must transfer ownership through the Transfer Portal. Any unofficial or fake collectibles or digital goods are not eligible to claim and are subject to prosecution. Make sure that you only trade the official NFT, which can be found on the official OpenSea page. Make sure you determine if the NFT includes a physical token or not before buying just the NFT.
What happens if I want to sell my NFT?
Phase 2 NFTs purchased on the secondary market which also have a physical Knowa Collectible must transfer ownership through the Transfer Portal.
If I bought a Knowa NFT Digital First collectible on the secondary market, how do I stake my claim?
If you purchase a Phase 2 Digital First NFT that has not been used to claim a physical product already, you can claim the product by entering our Transfer Portal.

PRODUCT CLAIMS: SHIPPING
What is the shipping process?
Knowa Physical Collectibles are sold through eBay, Soldster.com and other venues. Each vendor has their own policies for shipment. Knowa NFTs and Knowa Digital Collectibles
What is a Knowa NFT?
A Knowa NFT is a Phase 2 digital asset within the Knowa Ecosystem. The limited edition digital collectible is only available through Knowa or through authorized NFT marketplaces. The Knowa NFT holders gain exclusive rights to Digital Collectibles and additional digital utility.
What does “Phase 1” mean?
Phase 1 is the first stage of a collectibles life cycle within a Knowa Metaverse. For example, Phase 1 of the Knowa Halloween Series 1 trading cards represents the physical versions of collectibles issued within the Halloween Metaverse.
Phase 1 Knowa Collectibles holders stake their claim to their rights to future phases by registering their ownership of a Knowa Collectible Object. Phase 2 and 3 are later phases in the Knowa Ecosystem that complete the Knowa Collectibles Lifecycle. This system increases clarity on the secondary market. Buyers will always know which phase each Collectible is from.
Where can I get Knowa Collectibles?
You can buy Knowa Collectibles including trading cards and coins on sites like eBay and Soldster.com, and soon in the Knowa Marketplace. You can purchase Knowa digital-only collectibles on NFT marketplaces like OpenSea (google OPENSEA).
How many Cards and NFTs are in a collection?
The number of cards and NFTs varies from series to series and collection to collection.

What do I get if I buy a Knowa NFT?
Knowa Collectible Objects are designed as standalone products and do not automatically generate or mint an NFT. Registering your digital certificate of title does not mint an NFT. This is known in the crypto world as “lazy minting”. You and only you can invoke the minting process of creating an NFT. Some digital-only 3D collectibles will come standard with an NFT. The NFT gives holders true and provable ownership. NFT minting incurs costs known as “gas fees”.
What if an NFT is sold out?
It’s no longer possible to mint an NFT after they have all been minted. If you missed out, you can pick one up on Opensea, the secondary marketplace.
How can I tell if the resale collection page is legitimate?
A legitimate Knowa NFT collection page on Opensea will have a blue verified tick next to the page name.
How can I tell if the resale Into the Metaverse NFT is legitimate?
A legitimate Knowa NFT will say “Created by Knowa Studios” with a blue verified tick in the Description. It will also be connected to the collection page.
Are these NFTs available to buy in my country?

GENERAL
What is an NFT?
A non-fungible token, or NFT, is a digital asset used to represent ownership of unique items or access, whether digital or physical. Most commonly they are used for digital collectibles. Ownership and transfer of an NFT is secured by the Ethereum blockchain, which ensures that each NFT has only one owner at any given time, and that nobody can modify the history of the token’s ownership.
What is cryptocurrency?
Cryptocurrency is a digital currency or store of value that uses the blockchain, a digital transaction ledger, to record and secure online transactions. Cryptocurrencies can be used to buy goods and services. Currently, the most traded cryptocurrency is Bitcoin, followed by Ethereum. You do not need any payment method other than a standard credit or debit card to purchase Knowa Collectibles.
What blockchain are these NFTs minted on?
Knowa NFTs are minted on the Ethereum blockchain.
What is a “digital wallet”?
A blockchain wallet is a digital storage that enables you to store and transact with cryptocurrency. In its simplest form, a wallet comprises a public and private key, which are cryptographically generated.
To make the process of setting up a wallet user-friendly, there are many software wallets, such as Metamask, which equip you with a wallet address, key vault, secure login, and backup options to manage your digital assets securely. Metamask runs as a browser extension and/or mobile app, and you can be up and running in just a couple minutes. Learn more at Metamask FAQ.
With a digital wallet, you hold the keys and are in charge of your own assets. Your assets are only as safe as your keys, so back them up and keep them safe! Remember to never, ever share your seed phrase to anyone. That is for your eyes only.
How do I purchase ETH (Ethereum)?
You can purchase ETH through an online exchange as for e.g Coinbase. Once you have purchased ETH, you can transfer the funds into your Metamask or another compatible wallet to purchase an NFT. Please keep in mind that there are limits on the amounts of ETH you can buy and sell based on your account and the platform you’re using.
What is an NFT marketplace?
NFT marketplaces enable creators and collectors to buy, sell and create. After connecting your wallet, you can purchase, auction or sell a wide range of NFTs. The leading open NFT marketplace is called Opensea, this is also referred to as the secondary market.
